Initiates animation in the connected Structure window using data from the selected shape .
To create an animated shape display, measurement data is retrieved from the Shape Table for all M#s in the Animation equations for each Point & direction on the model in the connected Structure window
Only one selected shape can be displayed in animation at a time from a Shape Table.
Use the left arrow & right arrow keys on the keyboard to select a different shape.
The Draw | Animate Shapes command in the connected Structure window cam also be used to initiate animation form a Shape Table
When Animate | Method | Sweep is enabled in the connected Structure window,
Each shape is displayed in sequence, using N cycles of Sine Dwell animation.
(N is specified on the Animation tab in the File | Shape Table Options dialog box.)
When Animate | Method | Sine Dwell is enabled in the connected Structure window,
Each shape is multiplied by sine wave values (between -1 & +1) to provide sinusoidal animation of the shape.
When Animate | Method | Stationary Dwell is enabled in the connected Structure window,
The values of the selected shape are merely displayed.
To cycle through each of the three kinds of animation,
Repeatedly click on the Animate | Method commands list in the connected Structure window.
If Display | Shape M#s | Real is checked, only the Real part of each shape is displayed in animation.
If Display | Shape M#s | Imaginary is checked, only the Imaginary part of each shape is displayed in animation.
For all other data display formats, the complex shape data is displayed in animation.
If M#s are selected, then only shape components from the selected M#s are displayed in animation.
In no M#s are selected, data from all M#s in the Animation equations are used.
M#s are selected by using the Edit | Select M#s | Select By command, or by pressing Select M# buttons in the M#s spreadsheet.
Execute Animate | Animate Shapes again to terminate animation in the connected Structure window.
